Gunter Nezhoda died at the age of 67 on March 21, 2023, in his sleep on Tuesday night, after a six-month-long battle with cancer. The Storage Wars star died due to complications from lung cancer, his son and co-star Rene Nezhoda told TMZ.
The Storage Wars star Nezhoda was known to have been diagnosed with lung cancer in September but the chemotherapy treatment left holes in his lungs.
According to sources, the TV star had been a smoker for 30 years and recently traveled to Utah for emergency surgery to treat his lungs, but there was tragically nothing medics could do for him, Rene said.
He was survived by his son Rene Nezhoda.
