The men’s national soccer team of the United States is coached by Gregg Berhalter.
Before he was appointed as the head coach of the USA’s men’s soccer team, he served as an assistant coach with the LA Galaxy.

Berhalter has had an illustrious career as a soccer player. He has played for teams overseas like Sparta Rotterdam, SC Cambuur Leeuwarden, and Crystal Palace. He played once for the Eagles while he was a Crystal Palace player, scoring once against Bradford City.
Berhalter signed a contract with Bundesliga team Energie Cottbus in 2002. He continued to play for the team, making 111 league matches while leading them to promotion back to the Bundesliga.
He joined the second-division Bundesliga team TSV 1860 Munich in 2006 and was made captain. He spent 2 and a half years there and appeared in 73 league games.
