Whether you’re shopping for that one missing item, stocking up on grilling staples, or don’t want to show up to Memorial Day 2024 festivities empty-handed, customers should keep in mind that stores may have different opening and closing times ahead of the holiday.
All Stop & Shop Supermarket Company locations will be open throughout the Memorial Day 2024 Weekend. That includes Saturday, May 25, Sunday, May 26, and Memorial Day Monday, May 27, 2024. While most Stop & Shop locations will be open for business as usual, customers should keep in mind that some locations may not offer all services as usual.
For instance, pharmacies at certain locations may be operating under reduced hours, and closing earlier in the day. Some departments, like the floral, bakery, and deli sections, may also be working with limited staff at select stores. Same-day pickup and delivery orders could also be impacted by the holiday, so it’s recommended to check with your local store before placing any orders online.
Not all Stop & Shop locations operate under the same business hours, either. Most do tend to open between 6 am and 8 am, and close between 9 pm and midnight.
Stop & Shop is closed for Christmas Day, December 25, every year. The chain also closes by 6 pm on Christmas Eve, December 24, allowing employees to spend the night and the following day with their families. Stop & Shop also has limited store hours every Easter Sunday, opening its doors at around 7 am and closing by 2 pm in the afternoon.
