Great Olympics has a great future – board member, Amarkai Amarteifio

Accra Great Olympics’ Board Chairman, Major (Retd) Amarkai Amarteifio, is filled with optimism as the club marks its 70th anniversary.

During the anniversary celebration on Saturday, April 20, Major Amarteifio highlighted the club’s potential for greatness and success in the future.

In an interview, Major Amarteifio commended the collective efforts of various stakeholders who have contributed to the club’s growth and success over the decades.

He specifically praised the dedication of the club’s directors, management, players, technical staff, supporters, and well-wishers for their crucial role in nurturing the club.

The esteemed football administrator expressed deep gratitude to everyone who has supported Great Olympics, especially during challenging times, including sponsors such as MacDan Group of Companies and Blue Jeans.

“I wish to congratulate the directors, management, players, technical team, and supporters and wish them all the best on this occasion,” said Mr. Amarteifio.

Major Amarteifio pledged to foster inclusivity and a shared vision within the club, working closely with all individuals associated with Olympics to propel it to greater heights.

Great Olympics, a two-time Ghana Premier League champion, is currently 13th on the Premier League log with 33 points in the ongoing 2023/24 season.

The club is gearing up to face Premier League leaders FC Samartex in the Matchday 28 games at Nsenkyire Sports Complex this weekend.

With a strong sense of unity and determination, Great Olympics looks forward to celebrating more milestones and achievements in the coming years as they continue to strive for success in Ghanaian football.
