A sad incident happened at the University of North Carolina. A student is accused of killing a teacher. The university is in shock after this happened on Monday.
The student’s name is Tailei Qi. They were studying science. The teacher’s name is Zijie Yan. He was also helping the student with their studies.
The reason for the killing is not known yet. The university heard gunshots from a science lab.
Everyone was immediately warned to exercise caution since there may be a dangerous individual around with a pistol. They announced that a teacher had been slain later.
The student’s image was displayed by the police, who warned that he may be dangerous. After almost three hours, they managed to capture him close to a residential area. However, they have yet to discover the weapon he utilized.
