This initiative aims to provide free textbooks to students in fulfillment of the President’s promise to offer free TVET for all.
According to Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, Director General of the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET), the distribution of the textbooks is set to begin within the next two weeks, with proposed delivery schedules for various TVET schools.
Dr. Asamoah highlighted the government’s achievements in the TVET sector, including the completion of the first five-year strategic plan (2018-2022) and the development of a TVET policy and the next five-year strategic plan (2025-2029).
