Indeed “God didn’t put us on this rich land to be poor. It is only bad leadership that makes us poor.”
Fellow Ghanaians, let’s do us some favour this year . Governance is not a sole preserve of one person. It is sane to change a person(s) who have disrespectfully disregarded the power reposed in them for their selfish gains.
I get lots of people asking what is the alternative? The alternative is Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP . Yes NPP may have their issues socially, but they have proved beyond reasonable doubt that they understand governance and they understand the plight of the people of Ghana,they understand that, if we do more of the right things in bits and pieces, this country will move forward.
It is no attempt to paint the NPP as saints, but in my opinion, they are more humane in governance.

Let us put our prejudices aside and think about GHANA for a while. Let’s think about the future of our kids and beyond. Let’s us tell the politician that Ghana is our collective inheritance, let’s us resolve to leave a Ghana that the next generation will be proud of. Let’s us tell the politician that we are the kingmakers and we deserve some respect, other than the impunity and the disdain we have witnessed in last few years. Let’s us indicate to them clearly that we cannot be taken for granted.
Yes, for now, I am for change. I am for Nana Addo/Bawumia and the NPP governance in 2017 because they are the next realistic alternative. Trust me if ever they win power and they engage in even half of the crust incompetence and thievery we have experienced with the NDC, I will be the first to shout and seek for their removal. For me, that is the essence of democracy. Ghana is not for any individual or group of individuals.
Yes, I am not a politician but I am a citizen and I believe that I have a social responsibility to speak out against rot, against the daylight robbery, against the insensitivity, against the raw depletion of our resources with no results and against deception.
Let’s do ourselves some favour. Governance is no rocket science.
