The real situation of well-known gospel musician Yaw Sarpong has been revealed by two prominent Ghanaian gospel singers, Diana Asamoah and Maame Tiwa.
On Monday, February 26, 2024, Diana Asamoah disclosed that Mr. Yaw Sarpong is presently battling a slight stroke during her show on Angel FM.
This comes after the widely shared video of Maame Tiwa sobbing and praying with God to give Yaw Sarpong “healing mercies.”
Evangelist Diana Asamoah recently revealed this while discussing her opinions of the car that renowned singer Edward Akwasi Boateng has been gifted to help him overcome his financial limitations.
She underlined that Yaw Sarpong, who is currently bedridden and in need of medical attention, is in the same situation as gospel musician Akwasi Boateng, who received a car as a gift from Bishop El Benard.
Yaw Sarpong is battling a minor stroke right now. He’s confined indoors, bedridden. Yaw won’t be able to utilize the car you give him, even if you give it to him now.
He requires more than a vehicle. “He requires appropriate medical attention,” she said on her Angel FM program.
Recall that in 2016, Yaw Sarpong revealed in a Hitz FM interview how a pastor restored his health after medical professionals discovered a spinal cord injury and were concerned that he might not be able to walk or communicate following surgery.
“After fighting the illness for a few months, I reached a point where I was unable to stand, thus Komfo Anokye Hospital received me. I had an MRI because they said they couldn’t pinpoint the exact issue after doing an X-ray and CT scan. They then moved me to the Accra-based 37 Military Hospital. I was informed that I required surgery after the MRI because something was found in my spinal cord.
“They also informed me that I would not be able to walk or communicate following the procedure because they would need to cut my throat and remove my vocal folds. They claimed that was now the best course of action for me. But I was helped by Bishop Dr. JY Adu. He was recommended to me by a few people, and I never regretted seeking his cure,” the man had previously said.
