His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the owner and Life Patron of Asante Kotoko, has urged the team to secure a win in their upcoming match against Samartex Football Club.

With seven games already played in the Ghana Premier League, the Asantehene is expressing concern and dissatisfaction with the team’s current situation.

In a meeting held on Thursday, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II met with the players, coaching staff, and the Interim Management Committee to address the team’s performance. He emphasized the importance of hard work and dedication from every player, urging them to demonstrate their capabilities on the field.

“I am expecting something better from you. Prove to me that you are capable and if the coach is the problem, then I will take a decision on him. But for now, make sure you go and play and win,” Otumfuo stated during the meeting.

The upcoming fixture between Asante Kotoko and Samartex FC is set to take place on Sunday, April 21 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. The game is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm, with high expectations for a successful outcome from the Asante Kotoko team.
