Many were saddened after hearing the news of the sudden demise of Gilbert Gottfried – an American comedian and actor who was born in Brooklyn, New York, the United States on February 28, 1955.
He was the son of homemaker Lillian Zimmerman and hardware store owner Max Gottfried.
Gilbert was from a family of three siblings and happens to be the youngest. He was the younger brother of photographer Arlene Gottfried (1950–2017).
He was a married man with two adorable kids ( a son and a daughter) namely Lily Aster Gottfried,14, and Max Aaron Gottfried, 12.
Gilbert got married to his beautiful wife Dara Kravitz in 2007 after dating for 10 years.
The couple met at a Grammy Awards party in 1997.
Gilbert died on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the age of 67 in Manhattan due to a recurrent ventricular tachycardia, complicated by type II myotonic dystrophy.
His funeral service took place on Thursday and below are some photos from the service.
