American actor and stand-up comedian, Gilbert Jeremy Gottfried dies. He died on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, aged 67.
Gottfried’s persona as a comedian features an exaggerated shrill voice and emphasis on crude humor.
He is widely known for his special talent, both on stage and off stage.

Gilbert Gottfried family confirmed his death via a tweet on Tuesday.
The Twitter statement said: “We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Gilbert Gottfried after a long illness.”
The family described him as “the most iconic voice in comedy” as well as a “wonderful husband, brother, friend and father to his two young children.”
“Although today is a sad day for us all, please keep laughing as possible in Gilbert’s honor,” his family added in the statement.
The statement didn’t reveal his cause of death.
Fellow actor Jason Alexander said in a tweet: “Gilbert Gottfried made me laugh at times when laughter did not come easily. What a gift.
“I did not know him well but I loved what he shared with me. My best wishes and sympathy to his family. #ripGilbertGottfried” he added.
