Ghana’s Ambassador to Egypt, Lt. Gen. Obed Boamah Akwah (Rtd), has shown his unwavering support for Dreams FC ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup match against Zamalek.

The ambassador recently visited the team at their hotel in Egypt to boost their morale as they prepare for the upcoming clash.

During his visit, Ambassador Akwah assured the team of the support of the Ghanaian community residing in Egypt. He expressed his commitment to rallying the Ghanaian community to create a familiar and encouraging atmosphere for Dreams FC during the game, despite playing away from home.

Dreams FC has already begun their training sessions in Cairo in anticipation of the crucial match. The first leg will take place in Cairo on Sunday, with the return fixture scheduled in Kumasi in two weeks’ time.

Coach Karim Zito has shown confidence in the team’s fitness, although there are minor concerns about Sylvester Simba’s thigh discomfort.

The team is working hard to ensure they are fully prepared to face Zamalek in what promises to be an exciting encounter. With the support of the Ghanaian Ambassador and the local community, Dreams FC is poised to give their all in this important competition.
