CEO of FC Samartex, Richard Nsenkyire, has expressed his belief that Ghanaian clubs would have achieved better results in Africa if they had more financial resources. This statement was made during a meeting with President Akufo-Addo, where the club presented their Ghana Premier League trophy ahead of their upcoming campaign in the CAF Champions League.
Nsenkyire also sought the President’s blessings for their important journey on the African continent, emphasizing the need for financial support for Ghanaian clubs competing in continental competitions. He highlighted the challenges faced by teams in Africa due to lack of financial backing, which often hinders their performance and progression in tournaments.
