Diligent Adu Safowaa, a Ghanaian socialite and media figure, has begun her formal quest to break the record for the longest speech given by an individual at the Guinness World Records.
From February 9 to February 14, 2024, the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel will host the record activities.
On social media, Adu Safowaah’s competition outfit selections have generated controversy. Many have questioned whether she is carrying out widowhood ceremonies.
In order to participate in the speech-a-thon without any hassle, Adu Safowaah shaved her head.
According to the standards, an effort may include a question and answer session as long as the people asking the questions are hidden.
A minimum of five minutes must pass between each speech, and the activity must be continuous with only short breaks of no more than thirty seconds in between.
The speeches must also be unscripted, unplanned, and significantly different from one another.
You are free to use whatever language that Adu Safowah chooses, and for this project, she has chosen Twi, French, and English.
The record for the longest speech marathon is now held by Ananta Ram KC of Nepal, who ran it in Kathmandu from August 27 to August 31, 2018, for an astounding ninety-two hours and two minutes.
Alongside Afua Asantewaa (sing-a-thon), Chef Failatu Abdul Razak (cook-a-thon), Ace-Liam Nana Sam (youngest artist), and Dela Gomey (lipstick applications in 30 seconds), Adu Safowah will become the latest well-known Ghanaian to seek to break the Guinness World Records.
