Young Ghanaian winger Osman Addo was the hero for Boldklubben af 1893 (B.93) as they secured a 2-1 victory against FC Roskilde in the Danish second tier.
The head-to-head record between the two teams was evenly matched before the game, with both sides having two wins and one draw. However, it was Addo who made the difference on the day.
Playing at Roskilde Sports Park, the 20-year-old Addo put in an impressive performance, lasting 80 minutes on the field. He opened the scoring for B.93 with a well-placed strike at the near post after spinning through the defense.
FC Roskilde quickly responded, equalizing through Roni Arabaci just five minutes later. However, a defensive error from Roskilde allowed Emeka Nnamani to intercept the ball and set up Fisnik Isaki for B.93’s second goal, giving them a 2-1 lead at halftime.
The match was filled with opportunities for both teams, but it was B.93 who held on for the win, adding three valuable points to their NordicBet League tally. B.93 now have four points from their first two games and will be looking to build on this performance in their next match against Vendsyssel FF on August 2nd.
