Shocking footage of a violent attack on a friend has led to an 18-year-old Ghanaian woman, Princess Owusu Ansah, being sentenced to three years in prison by a UK court.
Per our findings, the horrific incident occurred in early February 2023, at the victim’s residence in the Dog Kennel Estate, Dulwich.
Princess, who hails from Royston, reportedly poured boiling water over her friend and stabbed her in the thigh with a knife, following allegations of cheating involving her boyfriend.

The distressing video clip was captured by Owusu Ansah on her mobile phone and quickly went viral on Snapchat, causing widespread public outrage.
The footage showed the victim screaming in agony as Owusu Ansah threw a kettle of boiling water over her, followed by a series of punches and knife attacks.
The injured woman managed to escape and was later treated at the hospital. Members of the public who saw the video on Snapchat alerted the Metropolitan Police, leading to Owusu Ansah’s arrest.
During her court appearance on May 9, Owusu Ansah was slapped with a three-year prison sentence for the heinous assault, pleading guilty to charges of grievous bodily harm and criminal damage at Inner London Crown Court.
The judge in his powers condemned her actions, stating that such violent behavior cannot be tolerated in any civil society.
