Ghanaian teachers certified to work abroad – National Teaching Council

The Ghanaian teacher’s license has achieved international recognition, according to Dr. Christian Addai-Poku, Registrar of the National Teaching Council (NTC).

Dr. Addai-Poku claims that Ghana is currently one of four African nations whose procedure for granting teaching licenses is comparable to that of the UK.

He mentioned Zimbabwe, South Africa, Ghana, and Nigeria as the four African nations.

In a conversation with Adom News, he revealed this, saying that a delegation from the UK came to use the license system because of the NTC’s honorable and responsible behavior.

Teachers accredited with their corresponding licenses can so teach in the UK, including those from Ghana and other nations.

Dr. Addai-Poku claims that some nations travel to Ghana in order to study the teaching license system, yet Ghana has advanced greatly despite others having started much earlier.

As a result, he has urged Ghanaians to make sure that they uphold the caliber of instruction that will benefit future generations.
