A group of talented Ghanaian students are on a mission to make their country proud at the upcoming Robotics World Championship in the United States.
These students, who are dedicated to the study of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education, have been busy constructing robots and developing mobile games in preparation for the competition.
With the guidance of committed coaches and support from various STEM educational foundations, these students have honed their skills in coding, engineering, and problem-solving. Their hard work and determination have led them to create sophisticated robots capable of competing on a global scale.
The students are highly confident in their abilities to excel at the 2024 VEX Robotics World Championship. One student expressed, “To compete with others from around the world, I believe Ghanaians will excel. We’ve practiced and trained extensively, and I am confident we will perform well.”
Another student shared, “So far, we’ve created various robots, including a drive train and a cobot. Last year, I was part of the team that built the robot for the previous competition, and this year, I contributed to building the current robot.”
The dedication and hard work of these Ghanaian students showcase the immense potential and talent within the country’s youth. As they gear up for the competition, they hope to bring home the gold and showcase the innovation and creativity of Ghana on a global stage. Let’s cheer on these bright young minds as they represent Ghana at the Robotics World Championship!
