Ghanaian striker Kwadwo Duah found the back of the net in Ludogorets’ 3-2 loss to Botev Plovdiv in the Bulgarian Cup final on Wednesday. Despite Ludogorets dominating possession and shots, it was Botev Plovdiv who came out on top at the Vasil Levski stadium.

The game kicked off with Antoine Conte giving Botev Plovdiv an early lead in the 4th minute with a header, but Duah equalized for Ludogorets just four minutes later. However, goals from Jakub Piotrowski and Martin Sekulic in the first half put Botev Plovdiv in the lead going into halftime.

In the second half, Emmanuel Umeh added to Botev Plovdiv’s lead before Rwan Seco pulled one back for Ludogorets. Unfortunately, it was not enough to secure a win for Ludogorets, who were missing Ghanaian winger Bernard Tekpetey due to suspension.

The defeat was a disappointing end to Ludogorets’ cup campaign, as they aimed to improve their impressive record against Botev Plovdiv. Despite the loss, Duah’s goal was a bright spot for the Swiss-born Ghanaian striker.
