Ghanaian striker Prince Ampem has once again proven his worth in the Turkish Super Lig, as he was recently named in Sofascore’s team of the week following his stellar performance for Eyüpspor.

Ampem shone brightly on the pitch on Friday, scoring a crucial goal in Eyüpspor’s 2-2 draw against Manisa Futbol Kulubu. The forward opened the scoring for his team in the 13th minute, setting the stage for an exciting match.

Despite Manisa FK fighting back with goals from Jetmir Topalli and Bekir Karadeniz, Eyüpspor showed resilience and managed to secure a point thanks to Svit Seşlar’s goal. The match was not without its share of drama, with Eyüpspor’s Bekir Yılmaz seeing a red card and Manisa FK’s Sandro Lima missing a penalty opportunity.

Eyüpspor, who have already secured promotion to the Super League, now sits at 68 points, while Manisa FK’s tally stands at 33. In their next fixtures, Eyüpspor will face Boluspor at home, while Manisa FK will take on Altay on the road.

Ampem’s impressive season continues, with the Ghanaian forward boasting 10 goals and 4 assists in 29 league appearances. His talent and dedication to the sport have certainly not gone unnoticed.

Congratulations to Prince Ampem on this well-deserved recognition in Sofascore’s team of the week!
