Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Osman shined for FC Nordsjaelland in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Midtjylland in the Danish Superligaen on Monday. Despite Midtjylland having the upper hand in their head-to-head record, Nordsjaelland put up a strong fight.
Osman, a key player for Nordsjaelland this season, opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a left-footed strike assisted by Daniel Svensson. Benjamin Nygren then added two quick goals to give Nordsjaelland a 3-0 lead. However, Midtjylland clawed their way back with goals from Franculino Djú and Mads Bech to make it a tight 3-2 scoreline at halftime.
The second half saw both teams creating chances, but it was Midtjylland who found the equalizer with Sverrir Ingason’s goal in the 79th minute. Osman, only 19 years old, has been in fine form this season with six goals and seven assists in 28 appearances.
The match was a showcase of exciting football with both teams giving their all until the final whistle. Osman’s performance once again highlighted his potential as a rising star in Danish football.
