In a riveting Ligue 1 showdown over the weekend, Ghanaian striker Andre Ayew shone brightly for Le Havre in their thrilling 3-3 draw against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
The 34-year-old captain of the Ghana national team showcased his skills by scoring a superb goal during the intense clash at the Parc des Princes. Prior to the match, PSG had a dominant head-to-head record with three wins against Le Havre, who were yet to secure a victory or draw. PSG quickly responded with Bradley Barcola equalizing in the 28th minute. However, Ayew regained the lead for Le Havre in the 38th minute with a powerful left-footed strike, assisted by Loic Nego’s clever backheel pass.
Le Havre extended their lead to 3-1 when Abdoulaye Toure converted a penalty in the 61st minute, leaving PSG trailing. But PSG showed their resilience, with Achraf Hakimi scoring in the 78th minute before Goncalo Ramos netted a sensational header in the 95th minute to salvage a dramatic 3-3 draw.
