Young Ghanaian defender, Ebenezer Annan, is thrilled to have joined Red Star Belgrade, one of the top clubs in Serbian football.
The Black Stars player completed his move to the Serbian giants on Tuesday, June 18, and he cannot contain his excitement.
In an interview with the media team of Red Star Belgrade, Ebenezer Annan expressed his happiness at signing with the club.
“I am very excited and happy to have signed a contract with Red Star. I am glad that my good games were noticed and that I managed to draw the attention of the Zvezda manager. I’m familiar with the Superliga and I think it’s very high-quality, so I’m looking forward to having the opportunity to continue playing in Serbia,” he said.
The 21-year-old defender also highlighted his strengths as a player, mentioning speed, technique, and intelligence with the ball. However, he is determined to improve in all aspects of his game.
“I think my main assets are speed and technique, as well as intelligence with the ball, but I can improve in all segments. I want it and I believe in myself,” he stated.
Ebenezer Annan has signed a three-year contract with Red Star Belgrade and is eager to make a positive impact at the club.
