Ghana’s national team captain, Andre Ayew, has acknowledged that the Black Stars are currently going through a rough patch. In a recent interview, Ayew expressed his belief that the team is in a transitional phase and will require time and hard work to regain its former glory.
Ayew emphasized the importance of staying calm and maintaining a positive attitude despite the team’s recent poor performance. He acknowledged that the Black Stars have not been achieving the desired results lately and expressed regret for disappointing the fans.
The talented forward highlighted the need for continued hard work and dedication from both the players and the coaching staff. He also stressed the importance of support from the Ghanaian community in helping the team bounce back.
“We have the talent and the players to succeed, but it will take time and a bit of luck for things to turn around,” Ayew said. “We cannot ignore the fact that our recent results have not been satisfactory, but it’s all part of the game. Football is a cycle, and we will have our moments again.”
Looking ahead to the June international break, Ayew remained optimistic about the Black Stars’ prospects. He expressed confidence that with perseverance and determination, the team will be able to make a strong comeback and regain its position as a powerhouse in African football.
