President Kurt Okraku of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has made a promise to increase support for the Elite Football Academy. This academy was established by the GFA with the goal of nurturing young footballers and providing them with education as they join the boys and girls teams.
During a visit to the Elite Football Academy, Kurt Okraku emphasized the importance of taking both academic and football training seriously in order to achieve success. He assured the young players of additional support from the GFA in the future.
“The GFA will continue to provide increased support to the Academy. It is crucial for all of you to focus on your studies and training in order to reach your goals,” stated Kurt Okraku.
He also highlighted the unique aspect of the Academy, stating that it not only focuses on developing football skills but also on understanding the rules of the game.
The ultimate goal of the Elite Football Academy is to discover and nurture talent, with the hopes of finding future superstars like Asamoah Gyan and Adjoa Bayor. The GFA is dedicated to providing the necessary resources and guidance to help these young players achieve their dreams of becoming professional footballers.
