American rapper 6ix9ine has received massive support after an incident at a Florida gym sent him to the hospital.

The Bushwick native, who is legally known as Daniel Hernandez, on Tuesday (March 21) was involved in a brutal meltdown with some unknown men in a gym in South Florida, leaving him severally injured.

The incident has drawn the attention of Twitter and Instagram users, with the majority condemning the acts and the assailants.

George Zimmerman, a notorious American man who fatally shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Florida and was later acquitted of second-degree murder, was dragged into the argument.

To many, the 6ix9ine attackers should have focused on Zimmerman who walks free and lives his best life in Florida.

“Meanwhile Zimmerman still walking around peacefully!! Y’all sure know who to Target/Pick on!” Instagram user ‘imlanita’ noted.

User ‘richiedollaz’ said: “Not A fan of ole boy but shouldn’t Zimmerman be public enemy number 1 in Florida?”

Another user ‘lovexbriana’ added: “Do we really live in a world where this type of shit is okay? Is celebrated even?”

6ix9ine received the same support on Twitter, even though many users slammed and trolled him for his braggadocious attitude.

“The people that’s happy about what happened to #6ix9ine just goes to show how much y’all sum fckn followers. Like really ask yourself, what did brah ever do to you personally that got you so hype to see a mf kick a man while they down? That was a Btch move honestly,” Twitter user ‘OgKindHeart‘ said.
