George Rossi, born on September 28, 1961, was a Scottish actor.

He was the son of a French father and an Italian mother. George was born and nurtured in Scotland, although his ancestors come from Italy. He speaks Italian really well.

Rossi worked in television and movies in the 1990s. He was memorable in Crossing the Line (1990) as a combatant with Liam Neeson, and he later returned to Italy to star in Roseanna’s Grave (1997) as a police sergeant.

He participated in over 200 episodes of the police drama The Bill between 1993 and 2003.

He appeared in a variety of projects over his career, including Holby City, The Singing Detective, and Whitechapel.

Rossi died on Wednesday January 5th, and his niece Louisa wrote that he was an actor “until recently”. The cause of his death is unknown.

His wife Catrin and two children, Matilda and Santino, survive him.

Several co-stars and friends expressed poignant condolences to the actor.

He is best remembered for his role as Duncan Lennox on The Bill from 1998 to 2003.

The funeral arrangements of the late actor is yet to be made public by the family with the cause of death being unknown.
