Famous Hungarian-British conductor and pianist Georg Solti received praise for his work both at home and abroad, at opera houses, concert halls, and recording studios.

He served as music director for numerous opera organizations throughout the course of a career spanning more than six decades, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Bavarian State Opera (Munich), the Frankfurt Opera, the Royal Opera at Covent Garden, and others.
