Geane Herrera dead at 33 Former UFC star dies after fatal motorcycle accident and leaves pregnant girlfriend behind

UFC fans are mourning the loss of Geane Herrera, a legend in the MMA world who tragically passed away at the age of 33 after a fatal motorcycle accident in Tampa, Florida. Herrera, a Colombian fighter, had an impressive career with 10 wins out of 13 fights.

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles reported that Herrera crashed into the back of another vehicle at a “very high rate of speed,” resulting in his untimely death. He leaves behind a 16-year-old son and a girlfriend who is three months pregnant.

Herrera made his MMA debut in 2011 with a victory over Andrew Connors at Real Fighting Championships 23. This marked the beginning of an incredible career that included an eight-match undefeated streak in the octagon. He eventually earned a call-up to the UFC in 2015, but unfortunately lost his debut fight to Ray Borg.
