Ghanaian artist Gasmilla recently organized a beach cleanup event called “Falefale” in collaboration with schoolchildren from Jamestown.

The main goal of this initiative was to clean up the beach while educating young students about environmental issues. The event was a success, with children actively participating in the cleanup and learning about the importance of waste sorting and recycling.

Gasmilla highlighted the significance of instilling environmental values in children from a young age, believing that this would lead to more environmentally conscious adults in the future. The event aimed to make the cleanup process enjoyable for the children while also teaching them valuable lessons about protecting the environment.

In addition to the beach cleanup, Gasmilla also emphasized the importance of educating children about environmental matters. By involving the younger generation in activities like these, the hope is to create a more sustainable and environmentally responsible future for Ghana.
