Actor Garret Lee Dillahunt was born in the United States on November 24, 1964.
He is most recognized for his work in television, which includes the parts of Jack McCall, Francis Wolcott, and John Dorie in Fear the Walking Dead as well as Burt Chance on the Fox sitcom Raising Hope, for which he was nominated for the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series (2018–2021). The 4400, ER, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Burn Notice, Justified, and The Mindy Project are a few other shows he has acted in. He starred in the drama series Hand of God from Amazon Studios.
Dillahunt was raised in Selah, Washington, after being born in Castro Valley, California. Eric died in 1981 in Yakima, Washington, after the car he was a passenger in, whose driver was drunk and driving too fast at the time, veered off the road. He was one of three boys born into the family; the other two were brothers named Brett and Eric. Brett, his brother, is a teacher.
Dillahunt earned a B.A. in journalism from the University of Washington and an M.F.A. in acting from the Graduate Acting Program at New York University.
