Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has initiated a major maintenance project for the cooling systems within Terminal 3 at Kotoka International Airport (KIA).
This project aims to address condensation issues that have resulted in leakages, as well as to enhance the efficiency of the cooling systems in the terminal.
The maintenance works will be carried out in several phases, with careful planning to minimize disruptions for passengers and stakeholders using the terminal. GACL has stressed the importance of public support and cooperation as they work towards maintaining and improving the airport facilities. Regular updates on the progress of the maintenance works and their completion will be provided to the public.
Earlier this year, GACL carried out repair works on the ceilings at Terminal 3 of KIA to tackle condensation issues with the air conditioning pipes, which had been causing leaks onto the ceiling. This latest maintenance project is part of ongoing efforts to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the airport’s facilities.
