Ghana Black Queens midfielder, Azumah Bugre, has expressed excitement about the upcoming international friendly match against Japan.

The match, scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 13 at the Kanazawa Go Go Curry Stadium, is seen as a crucial opportunity for the team to assess its performance and gauge its level against one of the best women’s football teams in the world.

Bugre, who plays for IFK Norrkoping, believes that facing Japan will provide the Black Queens with a fair and clear view of where they currently stand and what areas they need to work on.

“Japan is one of the best women’s football teams in the world so having a friendly game with them is actually going to give us a fair and clear view of where the team is, where we are supposed to level and where we are supposed to maintain,” Bugre said during a press conference at the Accra Sports Stadium before the team departed for Japan.

With the friendly match against Japan on the horizon, Bugre and the rest of the Black Queens are looking forward to the challenge and are determined to put up a strong performance.

The upcoming encounter is not just a game but an opportunity for the team to grow, learn, and further establish themselves as a competitive force in women’s football.
