Fred Ward, an American actor cun producer, who has passed on at age 79, looks like “The Walking Dead” star, Jon Bernthal.
Ward starred in more than 70 Hollywood films including Escape from Alcatraz, Southern Comfort, The Right Stuff, Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins, Tremors and Tremors 2: Aftershocks, Henry & June, Swing Shift, and Short Cuts.
Unfortunately, Ward died at age 79 on Sunday, according to his publicist Ron Hoffman, and his family requested that no cause or location of his death be revealed.
‘I am sad to announce the passing of acclaimed actor Fred Ward, who passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at age 79,’ Hofmann wrote in a statement.
He added ‘It was Fred Ward’s wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of donations to the Boston University Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy Center,’
Ward married Carla Evonne Stewart in 1965 but the marriage ended in divorce the following year.
His second marriage produced a son, called Django, with Silvia Ward whom he divorced and married Marie-France Boisselle in 1995.
Marie-France Boisselle filed for divorce in August 2013, but they reunited later that year.
