Franklin Cudjoe, President of IMANI Africa, has responded to Senior Vice President Kofi Bentil’s endorsement of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President and NPP flagbearer.
He claims that even with the political backing, Mr. Bentil continues to be an important member of the team.
Personal political connections would not hinder IMANI Africa’s commitment to objective appraisal and discussion of important topics, Mr. Cudjoe remarked in a Facebook post.
He made it clear that the group’s mission will always take precedence over individual preferences within the organization.
“The collective mandate we have set for the organization, which is to provide objective, independent analyses and critiques on various issues within an environment that guarantees individual freedom and liberty, will always take precedence over our wishes and preferences, however, they may be expressed,” Cudjoe wrote in his post.
