“Green Book” actor Frank Vallelonga Jr. has been confirmed dead.
“I’m very sad to confirm Frank’s death,” Vallelonga’s rep said. “It’s a terrible tragedy. He was an incredible guy and a great actor.”
News can confirm that on Monday, the New York Police Department received a report of a male who was unresponsive in front of 1243 Oak Point Avenue, which is located inside the 41 Precinct.
Police informed TMZ that Vallelongo was found dead in the street when they arrived and that they later identified him as such.

“The male had no obvious signs of trauma observed,” the NYPD said in a statement the press. “EMS responded to the location and pronounced the male deceased at the scene.”
Steven Smith, a 35-year-old man, was detained by the NYPD. Regarding the passing of Vallelonga, he is accused of hiding a human corpse. A police spokesperson told the New York Post that video surveillance purportedly captured Smith throwing the actor’s body from a moving vehicle in the Bronx.
According to the NYPD, the medical examiner will identify the cause of death, and an investigation is still open.
