Frank Connor, a former Celtic player, coach, and unbeaten caretaker-manager, died at the age of 86.
The goalkeeper began his career with the Hoops in 1961, when he appeared in two games for the first team before going on to St Mirren, Albion Rovers, and Cowdenbeath.
However, 22 years after his debut as first team coach under manager Davie Hay in 1983, the North Lanarkshire native would return to his boyhood club.
He stayed at Celtic Park for three years under Hay before taking over as manager of Raith Rovers, where he gained promotion to the Premier League in his first season.
He also had periods at Portadown, Derry City, and Berwick Rangers during his 32-year playing and management career.
