Frank Beckman is a retired American broadcaster. He was born on November 3, 1949.
He presently works as a talk radio presenter on WJR in Detroit, Michigan.
From 1981 until 2013, he was also the radio play-by-play announcer for University of Michigan football.
In May 2012, Northwood University bestowed upon Beckmann the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws.
He was named a Lifetime Member of the Detroit Sports Media Association. He was inducted into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame in 2008 for his services to sports broadcasting.
