Fran Quinn earned 13 of 25 cuts in his first full season on the Nationwide Tour, formerly the Ben Hogan Tour, in 1991. Later that year, he placed eighth at Q-School, earning him a PGA Tour card for 1992. In 1992, he made only 6 of 18 cuts and lost his tour card for 1993.
Quinn alternated between the PGA and Nationwide Tours from 1993 to 1997, before focusing solely on the Nationwide Tour. Quinn won his first major tour title in a playoff at the Nike Dakota Dunes Open in 1999. He finished the season with three top-10 finishes, but it wasn’t enough to win him a PGA Tour card for 2000.

Quinn had to go through local and sectional qualification to make the field at the 2014 US Open. He finished the first round tied for second place. It was his first US Open since 1996, and he is just a former champion on the Web.com Tour in 2014.
