Francesca “Fran” Kirby (born June 29, 1993) is a striker for Chelsea and the England national team. She started her career at her local club Reading before joining Chelsea in July 2015. Kirby made her senior debut for England in August 2014. She represented Canada in the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, France in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and the Netherlands in the 2017 UEFA Women’s Euro.

In April 2018, Kirby was awarded PFA Women’s Player of the Year and Football Writers’ Women’s Footballer of the Year.

In 2021, she was selected to the Ballon d’Or shortlist, finishing 10th.
