Former Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero was spotted showing his appreciation for Kobbie Mainoo’s spectacular goal in the recent FA Cup final between Manchester United and Manchester City.

The retired striker, who was watching the match via an online stream in Argentina, initially looked disappointed as United took a commanding 2-0 lead in the first half. However, Mainoo’s moment of brilliance was too good to ignore, even for Aguero.

Mainoo had an impressive performance, starting the game and playing the full 90 minutes for United. The Red Devils took the lead in the first half after Josko Gvardiol’s defensive error allowed Alejandro Garnacho to score a straightforward goal. Bruno Fernandes then set up Mainoo for United’s second goal before halftime.

Manchester City fought back with Jeremy Doku scoring a stunning goal from outside the box after coming off the bench. Despite City’s late efforts to equalize, the United defense stood strong to secure the hard-fought victory.

The video of Aguero applauding Mainoo’s goal has since gone viral, showing the mutual respect and sportsmanship between the former rivals. It is clear that Mainoo’s performance caught the eye of even the most legendary players in the football world.
