The once-greatest artist in Ghanaian music, AY Poyoo, is making headlines once more, but not in a good way.
AY Poyoo said in a widely shared self-recorded video that, other from becoming famous, he didn’t really make any money as a musician.
In contrast to prominent Dancehall artists such as Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, and Stonebwoy, AY Poyoo asserts that despite working on music full-time for three years, he has not been able to acquire a car or earn any property from his music.
Surprisingly, AY Poyoo revealed that in his three years as an artist, the most money he has ever made is $100.
