Lindsey Olin Graham is an American politician and lawyer serving as the senior United States senator from South Carolina.
He has held this position since 2003. He was born on July 9, 1955 in Central, South Carolina, where his parents, Millie Walters and Florence James Graham, ran a restaurant/bar/pool hall/liquor store, the Sanitary Cafe.
Graham is a member of the Republican Party, and served as chairman of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary from 2019 to 2021.
