Bill Turnbull who has been an almost permanent fixture on the British airways for almost two decades is reported to have passed away on August 31, 2022, at the age of 66.
The Surrey native is believed to have died as a result of prostate cancer which he had been diagnosed within 2017. He is survived by his wife and three children.

Flora Turnbull is the daughter of former BBC show host Bill Turnbull and his wife Sarah McCombie. She was born in August 1991 and was 31 years of age when her father sadly passed away after battling prostate cancer for almost five years.
She has two older brothers named Will and Henry. The family lived in Buckinghamshire while their father worked at BBC and their mother Sarah worked for British Forces Broadcasting as a newsroom editor.
However, they moved to Rainow in Cheshire to accommodate Bill’s job after the BBC Breakfast show relocated to Salford.
