Renowned Ghanaian gospel musician Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, popularly known as KODA, has recently shared a shocking incident where he was wrongly prescribed medication by a doctor for eight months.
The incident occurred in 2015 when KODA visited a hospital in Takoradi accompanied by his wife and sister. The doctor prescribed medication for him, which he took regularly as advised. However, as time went on, KODA started experiencing unusual symptoms, prompting him to research the drugs online.
To his surprise, KODA discovered that one of the medications contained sulphur, which was not suitable for his condition due to his G6PD deficiency. This revelation left him shocked and frustrated, as he had been unknowingly taking the wrong medication for such a long period.
