Christina Hendricks, best known for her role on the hit show Mad Men, recently tied the knot with her longtime partner, George Bianchini.

The couple, who had been dating for four years, exchanged vows at a ceremony in Napoleon House in April 2024. The wedding was officiated by Shirley Manson, lead singer of the rock band Garbage.

George Bianchini, like Hendricks, is also involved in the film industry, working as a steadicam operator in both New York City and Los Angeles. He has worked on various TV shows such as The Good Wife, The Blacklist, and The Mindy Project, as well as films like PS I Love You, The Switch, and Sinister. Bianchini holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Temple University.

The couple first met on the set of the NBC series Good Girls, where Hendricks played a lead role and Bianchini worked as a camera operator. They began dating in 2020 and in March 2023, they both proposed to each other. “We knew we were in love and that we wanted to be together forever so we decided to take the pressure off one person to propose and take turns proposing to each other. It’s twice as romantic,” Hendricks shared.

Hendricks was previously married to Geoffrey Arend, whom she split from in 2019 after a decade of marriage. The couple announced their separation in a joint statement on social media, expressing their gratitude for the love they shared and their commitment to co-parenting their two dogs. Hendricks has been open about her decision not to have children, stating that for her, having a puppy is her idea of starting a family.

The wedding in New Orleans was attended by close friends and family, including celebrities like Matt Weiner, Christian Siriano, Mae Whitman, and Retta. The couple wanted a celebration that was grand but not overwhelming, with a 76-person guest list that allowed them to spend quality time with each guest.

Hendricks described the event as a joyous celebration of their love and commitment to each other.
