Film producer Paula Weinstein dies at 78

American film and television producer Paula Weinstein passed away at the age of 78, on Monday, March 25, 2024, at her home in New York.

Paula Weinstein was a producer in all films unless otherwise noted. In 2013, She was named the Executive Vice President of Tribeca Enterprises. Some of her movies include A Dry White Season, The House of the Spirits, Waking the Dead, Grace and Frankie, Giving Up the Ghost, Crossed Over, Salem Witch Trials, and many more.

Paula Weinstein was raised in a Jewish family on November 19, 1945, in New York, New York, United States, the daughter of television producer Hannah Weinstein Dorner and Pete Weinstein, a reporter for The Brooklyn Eagle; her parents divorced in 1955.

Paula Weinstein was married to producer Mark Rosenberg until he died in 1992, at the age of 44. They were married for eight years. The duo married in 1984. She often worked with Steve Kloves, Lasse Hallström, and Barry Levinson.
