Ferran Torres Garcia is a professional football player from Spain who plays forward for La Liga Club Barcelona and the Spanish national team. He was born on February 29, 2000.

Torres made his senior debut in 2017 with Valencia, where he began his career. He won the Premier League and the EFL Cup in the 2020–21 season after transferring to Manchester City. He left for Barcelona in January 2022. In 2020, he made his senior squad debut after representing Spain in competitions at various young levels.

He shared the top scorer honor at the Nations League Finals with France’s Kylian Mbappé and Karim Benzema, scoring two goals each. Mbappé received the prize as a result of his two assists.

Torres participated for Spain in the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, where his side lost to the same opponent, and was a part of the Spain squad that defeated England in the 2017 UEFA European Under-17 Championship final.

Through June 2027, Torres’ five-year deal with Barcelona includes a €1 billion buyout provision. Both Barcelona and Manchester City made the announcement that Torres had relocated permanently to Barcelona on December 28, 2021.
