An armed Utah man, Craig Deleeuw Robertson, was shot and killed by FBI agents in Provo after allegedly making threats against President Joe Biden.

The shooting occurred while agents attempted to serve a warrant on Robertson’s home.

He had posted online about preparing a camouflage suit and a sniper rifle, along with other threats against Biden. Robertson, described as a “MAGA Trumper,” had a history of graphic online threats targeting public figures.

The confrontation unfolded just hours before President Biden’s visit to Utah. The 74-year-old Robertson was armed during the confrontation, and neighbors expressed surprise at the severity of the situation.

The FBI investigation was sparked by a tip from a social media platform. Robertson had been charged with felony counts, including threats against the president and FBI agents.

The shooting is under FBI review, and President Biden was briefed on the incident.
