Nigerian singer and famous songwriter, Oyinkansola Sara Aderibigbe, also known in showbiz as Ayra Starr, has finally noted to the entire public that she would do a lot if she were given the opportunity to be president for a day.
Amazingly, in a recent interview with her, I was asked to figure out a few positive features about the former US president Barack Obama, who included her song “Rush” on his 2023 playlist and was noted to hit out her plans if she were to take the same position as a president for a day.
However, she added strongly with great answers, one of which was that she would not allow women and children to suffer. She would make sure everything was done for them to have their comfort zone and not to pay for anything.
She added and declared that women and children are not supposed to be tortured or made to suffer; therefore, they are not supposed to pay for anything, including food, nags, jewelry, and other necessities such as basic needs and wants.
In her words: “if I were president for a day, I would make sure that women don’t have to pay for anything. No woman has to pay for anything. Everything is free; all the bags, jewelry, food, women, and children don’t have to pay for anything.”
She also noted that, which was really touching, women are humans and living beings that are supposed to be respected and loved; torturing, beating, or applying any kind of suffering to a woman is not the best.
In her words, she clipped out that women must not suffer in life and should be treated as such and given the best treatment and love all days in their lives, including children as well.
